About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, high-tech company specializing in autonomous robotic systems for hazardous environments. The organization is internationally active and recognized for its innovation in robotics and safety technology.

As Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial operations and reporting. You'll work closely with the CFO, with increased exposure to strategic decisions and responsibilitites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a role in a dynamic, scale-up environment with endless room for growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the CFO on strategic financial planning and investor reporting.
  • Support ERP system implementation and optimization across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Partner with manufacturing, R&D, and commercial teams to improve financial performance.
  • Contribute to funding, grant, and subsidy applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 3 + years of experience in financial controlling or business finance, manufacturing or high-tech environment (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Exact, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving scale-up environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
  • Ambition to grow into future roles and increased responsibilitites.
