Marketing Analyst

About the Role

A growing alternative investment manager is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join its London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious marketing professional with experience in investment management to further develop their career within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Working closely with the Marketing, Investor Relations and Investment teams, the successful candidate will support a broad range of marketing initiatives, helping to enhance brand visibility, investor engagement and business development efforts. The role offers exposure to both traditional and digital marketing activities and would suit someone with strong attention to detail, a commercial mindset and an interest in financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Content

  • Support the production and maintenance of investor-facing marketing materials, presentations, factsheets and fund documentation.
  • Assist in creating thought leadership content, market updates and other marketing communications.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are accurate, compliant and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate marketing projects with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage and update website content.
  • Support digital marketing campaigns across email, website and social media channels.
  • Monitor website performance and campaign effectiveness using analytics tools.
  • Assist with content optimisation and digital marketing best practices.
  • Provide reporting and insights on campaign performance and audience engagement.

Data & Analytics

  • Maintain marketing and investor engagement databases.
  • Track and report on key marketing metrics and KPIs.
  • Analyse campaign results and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support CRM management and data quality initiatives.

Events & Investor Engagement

  • Assist with the organisation of investor events, conferences and webinars.
  • Prepare marketing materials and supporting documentation for meetings and events.
  • Support follow-up communications and engagement activities.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 1-5 years' experience in a marketing role within investment management, asset management, wealth management or alternative investments.
  • Exposure to digital marketing activities, including website management, email marketing or social media.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
  • Experience producing or maintaining professional investor marketing materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a hedge fund, alternatives manager or institutional asset manager.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Experience using marketing analytics tools.
  • Exposure to marketing automation platforms.
  • Understanding of financial promotions and regulatory requirements.
