Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced, entrepreneurial sales professional to lead our U.S. business development efforts. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting institutional clients - including pension funds, endowments, and large asset managers - to adopt our quantitative investment solutions.
This is a high-impact, consultative sales role requiring deep technical fluency, a strong network among institutional allocators, and the ability to work independently in a lean, early-stage environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Become an expert in our macro risk model and algorithmic investment strategies.
- Effectively communicate our differentiated IP and investment solutions to sophisticated institutional investors.
Originate and close new business with:
Public and private pension funds, Endowments and foundations, and Asset managers and institutional consultantsPosition our offerings to support:
Enhanced passive strategies, Active ETF launches, Customized, IP-driven portfolio overlays- Collaborate with the founding team to refine go-to-market strategy and client messaging.
- Serve as the primary U.S. point of contact, operating autonomously while coordinating closely with leadership (based abroad and visiting periodically).
Ideal Candidate
- 10-15+ years of experience selling quantitative investment products or intellectual property (e.g., custom indices, smart beta, risk premia, algorithmic overlays).
- Proven track record of originating and closing deals with institutional allocators.
- Strong, active relationships with investment decision-makers at pensions, endowments, and asset managers.
- Experience with macro, factor-based, or systematic investment concepts - comfortable with technical performance metrics and drawdown/risk analysis.
- Highly self-motivated, able to operate without a large infrastructure or internal sales support.
- Comfortable in an early-stage, entrepreneurial setting where success is directly tied to outcomes.
