Vice President of Capital Formation
A leading real estate investment firm focused on net lease industrial assets is seeking a Vice President of Capital Formation to lead and expand capital raising efforts across the private wealth channel. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving investor relationships, fundraising strategy, and capital inflows to support an active acquisition pipeline.
Position Overview
The Vice President will play a critical role in scaling the firm's presence within the RIA, family office, and high-net-worth investor community, working closely with senior leadership to execute fundraising initiatives and deepen investor partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead capital raising efforts across private wealth platforms, including RIAs, family offices, and independent broker-dealers
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective investors across key U.S. markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing investors to drive repeat allocations
- Partner with senior leadership on fundraising strategy, product positioning, and investor targeting
- Conduct investor meetings, presentations, and due diligence sessions
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and materials
- Provide market feedback and investor insights to inform fundraising and investment strategy
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in capital formation, investor relations, or distribution within real estate, private equity, or alternative investments
- Demonstrated track record of raising capital across private wealth channels
- Strong relationships within the RIA and family office ecosystem preferred
- Prior experience with real estate strategies, ideally industrial or net lease, is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-growing platform
