We are working with a leading US mid-market investment bank that is continuing to invest heavily in the growth of its European M&A franchise. As part of this expansion, the firm is looking to hire a Vice President (VP2 level) to join its Business Services team, with exposure across a pan-European client base.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded M&A professional to step into a highly visible, client-facing role with a clear trajectory towards Director.
Role Overview
- Execution of end-to-end M&A transactions across the Business Services sector
- Lead day-to-day project management, including client coordination, due diligence processes and junior team oversight
- Take an active role in origination and client relationship development across Europe
- Partner closely with senior bankers across offices to develop and grow sector coverage
- Opportunity to work on cross-border mandates as part of an integrated European team
Candidate Profile
- 7+ years of experience in M&A Investment Banking (VP2 level or equivalent)
- Strong track record of executing mid-market transactions, ideally within or adjacent to Business Services
- Demonstrable ability to operate in a commercial and market-facing capacity, including client interaction and early-stage origination exposure
- Clear potential and ambition to progress to Director level in the near term
- Strong financial modelling and technical skillset
- Highly collaborative, with experience working across geographies and teams
