Responsibilities
- Guide and support a team of analysts, ensuring strong performance and professional growth.
- Drive analytical initiatives that shape credit risk strategies and decision‑making.
- Track and evaluate portfolio metrics, identifying shifts in approval behaviour, emerging risk patterns, and loss dynamics.
- Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations for portfolio steering.
- Oversee the creation and refinement of credit scoring tools, IFRS 9 models, and customer segmentation approaches.
- Strengthen data governance within the risk area by improving data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
- Work closely with technical and business teams to enhance reporting structures and data pipelines.
- Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and prepare the risk function for audits and committee discussions.
- Represent credit risk perspectives in cross‑functional forums and stakeholder meetings.
What You Bring
- Academic background in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or finance.
- Several years of experience (5+ years) in retail credit risk, portfolio insights, or similar analytical roles.
- Hands-on leadership experience or a strong track record managing complex analytical workstreams.
- Proficiency in data and modelling tools such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk reporting environments.
- Ability to communicate analytical conclusions clearly and convert them into actionable business steps.
