A large global hedge fund is looking for a Quant Developer. Join a collaborative technology team focused on developing and maintaining high-performance trading and signal logic, along with supporting infrastructure. This role involves close interaction with quantitative researchers and traders to implement strategies and research projects, while partnering with other tech teams for integration and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and implement strategy and signal logic, backtesting, simulation, and processing frameworks.
- Build tools to analyse large datasets using advanced statistical methods for opportunity detection and impact monitoring.
- Support quantitative researchers with technical aspects of strategies, signals, and R&D projects.
- Deliver long-term strategic initiatives.
- Provide production support.
Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative field e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or Financial Engineering.
- Strong programming skills under Linux and coding in C++.
- Experience working on mission crucial systems as well and in a trading floor environment.
- Able to collaborate well with Quant Researchers and Traders.
- Good communication skills.
