Senior Quantitative Developer lead

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and driven Quantitative Developer to join our fast-paced and technology-focused quantitative trading team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of cutting-edge engineering and financial research, helping to build high-performance, scalable systems that enable robust factor-based trading strategies. Your work will directly impact real-time and end-of-day investment decision-making by ensuring the accuracy, stability, and efficiency of our factor calculation pipeline.

As a core member of the quant infrastructure team, you will take part in designing and optimizing our large-scale streaming factor computation platform. You will also be deeply involved in the complete production work-flow of intraday and post-trade factor calculation - from data ingestion and transformation to validation and system integration. You will be expected to collaborate closely with quant researchers, data engineers, and trading system architects to deliver mission-critical infrastructure that supports systematic investment at scale.

This is a unique opportunity for developers who are passionate about building low-latency, reliable systems and who want to contribute meaningfully to a tech-driven investment process. You will face challenging technical problems related to performance, distributed computation, and system design - and solve them with a world-class team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Factor Computation Platform Development

* Design, implement, and maintain a high-throughput, low-latency platform for streaming factor computation.
* Develop reusable and scalable components that support both research and production needs.
* Optimize factor engines for memory efficiency, throughput, and latency under large data volumes.

2. Production Factor Pipeline Integration

* Take ownership of the full factor calculation workflow in production environments, including both intraday and EOD (end-of-day) processes.
* Ensure correctness and consistency of factor values across different data snapshots and trading sessions.
* Implement monitoring, alerting, and fault-tolerant mechanisms to guarantee system reliability and data accuracy.

3. Cross-Team Collaboration

* Work with quantitative researchers to understand factor models and translate research code into robust production implementations.
* Collaborate with data and infrastructure teams to integrate new datasets and system enhancements.
* Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and system architecture planning.

4. System Optimization and Engineering Excellence

* Continuously benchmark and optimize system performance under real-world data loads.
* Promote best practices in software engineering, including testing, CI/CD, documentation, and performance profiling.
* Investigate and resolve production issues in a timely and systematic manner.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
* Strong programming skills in Python (with NumPy/Pandas) and C++, with solid software engineering practices.
* Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and computer architecture.
* Familiar with performance optimization, large-scale data processing, and system reliability.
* Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively across teams.
* Self-driven with a passion for technology and continuous learning.
