Senior Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to manage key financial operations and support strategic decision‑making. This role involves advanced accounting expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to partner effectively across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own assigned business units, including revenue streams, seasonal trends, performance expectations, and variance analysis.
• Partner with business unit contacts to investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate financial results.
• Manage weekly workflows and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and update the Excel error log to identify recurring issues and training opportunities.
• Attend and document Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Provide feedback and guidance to direct reports, including offshore accounting team members.
• Communicate proactively with business units, resolving questions and ensuring financial accuracy with a customer‑service mindset.
• Support ongoing and ad‑hoc accounting or integration projects.
• Track carrier transfers and lead local bank account closures with Treasury; maintain integration tracker accuracy.
• Support interim and year‑end audit processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Big 4 experience a plus.
• Extensive experience in corporate or public accounting, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Advanced analytical, problem‑solving, and internal‑control skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
