Role Overview
With continued growth we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join the finance team. This role will report directly to senior leadership and play a key part in both day-to-day accounting operations and strategic financial initiatives, including automation and acquisition integration. This is a high-impact position with strong potential for growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- General Accounting
- Maintain accurate general ledger records, including AR/AP subledger reconciliations
- Manage prepaid and accrual schedules; post monthly adjustments
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
- Support external audit processes and respond to auditor inquiries
- Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze financial trends and variances to support business decisions
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling
- Develop and refine reporting tools and dashboards for leadership visibility
- Cash Management
- Apply daily customer payments and reconcile bank activity
- Maintain a rolling 30-day cash forecast and monitor liquidity
- M&A Integration
- Assist in onboarding and financial integration of newly acquired entities
- Process Improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and cash management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
- Experience with NetSuite and M&A integration is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
