Sales Compensation Specialist
A prominent organization in the group benefits space is seeking a Sales Compensation Specialist to join its dynamic Distribution Compensation team. This role is ideal for a driven professional looking to expand their expertise in incentive compensation while playing a key role in supporting sales performance through well-structured reward programs.

This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of incentive compensation - from calculations and data management to reporting, analysis, and stakeholder support - for the internal Group Sales team.
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee the administration of multiple sales incentive plans, including the calculation of payouts, payroll file submissions, and generation of related reports with precision and confidentiality.
Aggregate and analyze data from various internal sources to produce accurate compensation outputs with minimal supervision.
Audit and validate compensation reports to ensure correctness before distribution.
Deliver timely and professional support to internal partners, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
Provide actionable insights and performance modeling to inform compensation strategy and program updates.
Draft and distribute detailed plan documents tailored to various incentive-based roles.
Develop presentations and reporting materials for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
Balance multiple assignments efficiently while remaining adaptable to evolving business needs.
Create and maintain process documentation and operational best practices.
Collaborate across departments and act as a subject matter resource during the rollout of new initiatives, product lines, or sales structures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in sales compensation or an understanding of incentive program design is preferred.
Advanced Excel and Access skills required; familiarity with Visual Basic is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for trends and inconsistencies.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal direction.
Skilled communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
