Overview
A leading international investment bank is seeking a Vice President to join its Rates Structuring / Financing Solutions team in Paris.
This is an opportunity to join a growing platform looking to add a commercially minded structurer who can help build and expand the business. The team is interested in candidates with strong experience in Rates Structuring or Financing Solutions, while also remaining open to profiles with relevant expertise across repacks, structured notes, and bespoke payoff design.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, driven, and execution-oriented, with the ability to work across internal stakeholders and help develop new client solutions in a growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and execute rates-driven and financing solutions for institutional and corporate clients
- Develop bespoke products and strategies across areas including:
- Rates Structuring
- Financing solutions
- Repacks
- Structured notes
- Customised payoffs
- Work closely with sales, trading, legal, risk, and operations teams to deliver efficient and commercially attractive solutions
- Support idea generation and product development, helping to broaden the desk's offering and deepen client relevance
- Translate market opportunities and client needs into scalable structuring solutions
- Prepare term sheets, pricing analysis, scenario modelling, and transaction documentation support
- Assist in the execution of transactions from initial client engagement through to launch and post-trade follow-up
- Contribute to the growth of the franchise through a proactive, commercially driven approach
Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years' experience within an investment bank or comparable institutional platform
- Background in one or more of the following:
- Rates Structuring
- Financing / structured financing solutions
- Structured notes / repacks
- Cross-asset or bespoke payoff structuring
- Strong understanding of:
- Rates markets and derivatives
- Structured product mechanics
- Client-driven solutions and execution processes
- Experience working in a front-office environment with exposure to live deal execution and stakeholder management
