We are currently representing a leading growth equity firm based out of Washington, DC. Investing in high-growth, B2B software companies, the team is one of the most active deal teams on the market. The team has over two decades of experience and just shy of $2 billion in committed capital and want to add a Private Equity Associate to their deal team.
Private Equity Associate Role Overview:
The team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team that has a strong background in software and technology investing. The role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with senior investment professionals and portfolio company executives, gaining hands-on experience in sourcing, evaluating, and executing growth equity investments.
Private Equity Associate Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify investment opportunities.
- Build financial models and perform valuation analyses.
- Assist in due diligence and deal execution processes.
- Support portfolio companies with strategic initiatives and performance tracking.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Private Equity Associate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
