Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, execution, and risk management of high‑frequency and/or multi‑asset options market‑making strategies.
- Oversee daily trading activities and position management, ensuring optimal pricing, quoting, and inventory control.
- Drive technological and quantitative innovation by collaborating with quants and developers on models, signals, infrastructure, and automation.
- Identify new markets, products, and structural opportunities to expand the firm's trading footprint.
- Maintain a robust risk framework, including stress testing, scenario analysis, and real‑time monitoring of volatility and correlation exposures.
- Mentor junior traders and contribute to firmwide strategy, governance, and capital allocation decisions as an equity‑level partner.
- Grow and maintain strong relationships with exchanges, brokers, liquidity venues, and technology partners.
Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years of experience in options market making with a demonstrated track record of consistent profitability.
- Deep understanding of options theory, volatility modeling, microstructure dynamics, and electronic execution.
- Strong technical aptitude, including experience working with systematic or partially automated trading workflows.
- Proven ability to operate effectively within a lean, entrepreneurial trading environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with previous experience mentoring or building trading teams.
- Demonstrated strategic mindset and the willingness to contribute as an equity partner to firm direction, culture, and long‑term growth.
