Our client a high-performing, fast-growing hedge fund that focuses on a long/short equity strategy in Hong Kong is scaling rapidly and executing up to 200 trades per day across global markets and thus looking for a senior operations candidate to assist the more junior members of the team.
We are exclusively partnered with a boutique investment firm seeking an experienced Operations Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with portfolio managers and senior leadership in a dynamic, high-volume trading environment.
What does the role involve?
- Oversee daily NAV production and fund accounting
- Manage trade settlements, reconciliations, and cash movements
- Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, and auditors
- Support operational setup for new fund launches
- Implement process improvements and automation to handle high trade volumes
What experience do you need?
- 5-8 years of experience in hedge fund operations or fund administration
- Strong expertise in NAV calculations, fund accounting, and trade lifecycle
- Proven ability to manage high-volume trading environments (up to 200 trades/day)
- Experience with multi-asset class funds (equities, derivatives, FX, etc.)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in fast-paced settings
