Operational Risk Manager
A leading corporate bank is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to strengthen its Technology and Third‑Party Risk oversight. The role focuses on DORA implementation, ICT and outsourcing risk, and ECB-regulated exposure, working closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, Procurement, and Risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and enhance the operational risk framework for technology, ICT, and third‑party risk, in line with DORA, ECB, and EBA expectations
- Lead third‑party and outsourcing risk oversight, including critical and important service providers
- Drive the bank's DORA readiness and ongoing compliance, covering ICT risk management, incident reporting, resilience testing, and vendor governance
- Support ECB supervisory engagement, including inspections, thematic reviews, and regulatory requests
- Contribute to risk appetite, KRIs, scenario analysis, and issue management related to technology and third‑party risk
- Prepare concise, high‑quality reporting for senior management and risk committees
Key Requirements
- 8-12+ years' experience in Operational Risk, Technology Risk, or Third‑Party Risk within banking or regulated financial services
- Strong working knowledge of DORA, ICT risk, outsourcing frameworks, and ECB/EBA supervisory expectations
- Proven experience supporting ECB interactions or regulatory reviews
- Solid understanding of technology risk domains (e.g. cloud, cyber, data, resilience, vendor concentration)
- Senior‑level stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate regulation into pragmatic risk solutions
