Office Manager / Controller
A well-established and growing construction services firm based in Sterling, MA is seeking a highly capable Office Manager / Controller to lead its accounting and administrative operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Oversee and optimize workflows within Foundation Software to support multiple trades and project types.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate job costing, budget tracking, and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for leadership.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, contributing to strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial consultants.
- Provide leadership and support to office staff, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Foundation Software experience is required; familiarity with other platforms such as Viewpoint or Bid2Win is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry accounting practices and job costing.
- Proven ability to manage financial operations independently and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
