Network Pricing Consultant
A nationally recognized health insurer is seeking a Dental Network Pricing Consultant to lead strategic pricing initiatives and support provider network development. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for optimizing healthcare access and affordability.
This is a hybrid position - 3x a week in-office (Boston, MA or New York, NY)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of analysts in evaluating and optimizing PPO and DHMO provider compensation.
- Oversee changes to fee schedules and assess financial impacts on dental rates.
- Manage rental access fee payments and relationships with network partners.
- Develop and maintain analytical tools to support pricing, retention, and recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance network performance.
- Support RFP responses and sales initiatives with data-driven insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in actuarial or data analytics, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
- Proficiency in Excel and/or VBA; experience with Tableau and Alteryx is a plus.
- Experience with provider fee analysis (PPO and HMO) is preferred.
- ASA designation a plus but not required
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects and manage direct reports.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
