Market Risk Manager
We are currently working with a top‑tier securities firm that is seeking a senior Market Risk professional to join its team, with a primary focus on market risk governance, quantitative risk management, and new product risk assessment within a securities business.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and continuously enhance the market risk management system, including participation in formulating market risk‑related rules and operational processes.
- Manage market risk limits by effectively identifying, measuring, monitoring, and reporting market risk exposures.
- Oversee market risk quantitative models, including the measurement and management of market risk capital.
- Participate in the establishment and maintenance of the product risk rating system, and conduct reviews and evaluations of market risks for related projects.
- Lead market risk assessments for new products and new businesses, and review corresponding operational and risk management procedures.
- Handle ad‑hoc assignments as required by the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related disciplines from a recognised university; FRM, CFA, or CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- At least 5 years of market risk management experience gained from investment banks, securities brokers, large commercial banks, or well‑known investment institutions.
- Strong experience in quantitative analysis and modelling, with solid understanding of market risk measurement methodologies and statistical analysis.
- High sense of responsibility, strong learning and research capability, good communication and coordination skills, and strong written ability.
- Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑intensity environment with strong team spirit.
- Fluent Mandarin is mandatory.
