Firm Overview:
A leading commodities-focused hedge fund manager with approximately $3.5 billion in AUM across their commodities hedge fund and long only funds.
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketer to lead global distribution efforts for a long-only commodities strategy. This individual will play a key role in expanding the strategy's reach across both U.S. and international markets. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a deep understanding of the investment landscape, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead marketing and distribution efforts for a long-only commodities strategy across global markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with RIAs and institutional investors.
- Develop and manage RFPs, DDQs, pitch materials, and other client-facing documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with product capabilities and market positioning.
- Navigate legal and regulatory complexities across jurisdictions, particularly outside the U.S.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in asset management distribution, preferably in long-only strategies.
- Strong understanding of the RIA landscape.
- Experience with global marketing and familiarity with legal/regulatory considerations across regions.
- Commodities experience is a plus, but not required. Long only experience required.
- International experience, particularly in Europe, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
