IT Internal Audit Manager
We are currently partnered with a U.S. major food and consumer products company that is seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager to join its internal audit team in Colorado. This role will oversee the SOX IT program for U.S. operations while leading a team of IT auditors and supporting global audit groups across UK, Mexico, and Australia. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, extensive SOX expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business leaders and technology stakeholders. This position plays a key role in strengthening the company's control environment, enhancing audit quality and ensuring consistency across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the SOX IT control program, including walkthroughs, control testing, documentation, and remediation tracking.
- Lead and develop a team of 3-4 auditors and provide support to global audit teams.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute technology - related audit engagements.
- Review audit work papers and reports for accuracy.
- Assess IT risks and evaluate the effectiveness of IT General Controls and application controls.
- Collaborate with external auditors on SOX and audit requirements.
Qualifications:
- CISA preferred; CIA or CPA a plus.
- 8+ years of SOX experience, with strong knowledge of full SOX life cycle.
- Understanding of ITGCs, application controls, and SAP (SAP GRC a plus).
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing audit teams.
- Experience working with external auditors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
