About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join a dynamic internal audit team with a focus on trading-related IT systems. This role involves conducting independent audits, assessing IT risks, and contributing to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and digital tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently plan and execute IT audits, particularly in the context of trading operations
  • Identify IT risks based on business processes and propose mitigation strategies
  • Develop and enhance digital audit techniques and data analytics approaches
  • Evaluate IT infrastructure, applications, and processes for security, compliance, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to implement audit recommendations and optimize processes
  • Contribute to the development of the IT audit universe and risk-based audit planning

Your Profile

  • A Minimum of 8 years experience in IT Audit, preferably within Energy or Energy Trading
  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in IT auditing, ideally with exposure to trading environments
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CIA) are advantageous
  • Familiarity with trading systems and supporting IT architectures is preferred
  • Strong understanding of IT risk assessment, regulatory frameworks, and IT service management
  • Proficiency in German (C1+) and English (B1+)
  • Knowledge of IT architectures, data modeling, and programming (e.g., Python)
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and independent working style

Position: IT Auditor - Energy Trading (all genders)
Location: Remote (1x per month onsite in Baden-Württemberg)
Estimated Salary: 110.000€-140.000€* base salary + bonus
Hours: 40/week
Languages: fluent German (C1+) & English (B1+)
