Overview:
A leading credit investment firm headquartered in the U.S., managing multiple billion in assets is seeking an IR Operations Associate to join its Investor Relations team in Charlotte, NC. This role is focused on client service and operational support related to investor onboarding, capital activity, and information distribution. The Associate will work closely with internal teams, fund administrators, legal counsel, and investors to ensure accurate and efficient processes across multiple fund structures.
The IR Operations Associate Will Be Responsible For:
Manage capital activity processes across evergreen and commitment-based funds, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, capital calls, and distributions.
Coordinate investor documentation with fund administrators and legal counsel.
Reconcile investor records with fund administrators to ensure accuracy.
Support infrastructure scaling for new fund launches.
Generate internal reports for Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Accounting, and Investment teams.
Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies.
Collaborate on cross-departmental projects to enhance information flow.
Maintain and support the firm's CRM framework.
The IR Operations Associate Should Have:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience at an alternative investment firm or fund administrator (preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Impeccable attention to detail and sound judgment.
