Investment Banking Sr. Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Play a central role in the execution of M&A transactions, including sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory mandates
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, including operating models, valuation analyses, merger models, and LBO analyses
- Lead the preparation of pitch materials, client presentations, and marketing documents (e.g., CIMs, management presentations)
- Conduct in-depth industry research and company analysis across the media landscape, including key subsectors and emerging trends
- Manage day-to-day project workflows, including coordinating diligence processes and liaising with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors
- Review and oversee work product of junior team members (Analysts), ensuring accuracy and quality
- Support business development efforts through idea generation, market analysis, and pitch execution
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of investment banking experience, preferably within media, technology, or related sectors
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skillset, with experience building models from the ground up
- Deep understanding of M&A processes and transaction execution
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
