Investment Banking Associate- GPR
As a Junior Associate, you will play a meaningful role in the execution of M&A and strategic advisory assignments across the consumer retail landscape, with deep exposure to transactions involving grocery operators, pharmacy chains, food service brands, distributors, and related consumer platforms. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing team with consistent deal flow and hands-on involvement in live transactions from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle M&A execution, including due diligence, valuation work streams, process management, client materials, and cross-functional coordination.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models (three-statement, DCF, LBO, merger models) and conduct comprehensive valuation analyses.
- Develop strategic insights for clients by performing category research, competitive benchmarking, and financial diagnostics.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, management presentations, and strategic reviews.
- Work closely with senior bankers and clients, contributing meaningfully to transaction strategy and process execution.
- Help drive internal initiatives, sector analyses, and long-term client development efforts within the consumer retail practice.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of investment banking experience; strong M&A transaction experience is required.
- Solid analytical, modeling, and valuation skills with the ability to manage multiple live work streams.
- Demonstrated interest in the consumer sector-ideally groceries, pharmacies, restaurants, food service, or broader retail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong team orientation, work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree with a record of academic excellence.
