Information Security Officer
A major pension fund in the Netherlands is seeking an Information Security Officer to strengthen its security and risk framework. You help safeguard the digital resilience of an organization serving over 100,000 members. You turn security strategy into actionable controls, assess risks, and collaborate closely with internal departments and external providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert security standards into practical policies and operational measures
- Define and monitor employee conduct guidelines related to information protection
- Maintain and advance the ICT continuity plan for disruptions and incident scenarios
- Execute risk assessments across internal processes and outsourced service providers
- Oversee adherence to security agreements with external vendors
- Coordinate and supervise testing activities within the risk management framework
- Align practices with sector guidance, including DNB Good Practices and DORA
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's+ level education, preferably supported by certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
- At least 3 years of experience in an information security, risk, or cybersecurity function (pensions/financial services preferred)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and risk controls
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (ISAE 3402, ISAE 3000, GDPR, DORA)
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Fluency in Dutch is essential for daily communication, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory alignment
