Head of Credit Risk

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the firm's credit risk framework, policies, and governance structure.
- Define risk appetite and oversee credit limits, margin requirements, and collateral standards.
- Supervise credit assessments for institutional clients and high-risk products, including margin financing, OTC derivatives, and structured products.
- Monitor exposures and concentrations, conduct stress testing, and ensure timely escalation of risk issues.
- Lead reviews for new products and businesses, ensuring robust credit risk controls are in place.
- Engage with regulators and maintain full compliance with SFC requirements.
- Manage and mentor the credit risk team, driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of credit risk experience within investment banking, brokerage, or prime services.
- Strong knowledge of risk models, margining practices, ISDA/CSA documentation, and Hong Kong regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English.
