Hardware Engineer

The team is scaling fast and seeking a seasoned Hardware Engineer to help them push the boundaries of high-speed, high-density system design. If you're passionate about building custom hardware that challenges conventional limits-and thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment-this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

They value big-picture thinkers who aren't afraid to dive deep, explore unconventional ideas, and take ownership from concept to production.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, test, and manufacture custom hardware systems-primarily PCBs
  • Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation using tools like SPICE, Ansys SiWave, and HFSS
  • Write initial bring-up code in C, Python, or VHDL
  • Analyze Eye Diagrams and BERT results, correlating lab data with simulations
  • Develop test plans and engineering requirement specifications
  • Debug hardware issues across the development lifecycle
  • Research innovative ways to optimize system performance-latency, scalability, thermals
  • Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers across software, firmware, FPGA, mechanical, and infrastructure domains
  • Own your designs end-to-end-from ideation to production
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and manufacturing partners

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Master's or PhD preferred)
  • 5+ years of hands-on industry experience
  • Advanced ECAD proficiency (Altium, Mentor Graphics, Cadence, or similar)
  • Deep understanding of signal and power integrity best practices
  • Proven track record in full product lifecycle-from concept to release
  • Expertise in high-speed interfaces and protocols (PCIe Gen3-6, USB3/4, 10/25G Ethernet)
  • Familiarity with low-speed protocols (I2C, SPI, JTAG, USB)
  • Skilled in validating high-speed interfaces using TDRs and oscilloscopes
  • Comfortable writing and debugging Python code

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of Ethernet standards (IEEE 802.3)
  • Experience in data center or consumer electronics hardware design
  • Software development skills in C/C++
  • RTL design experience (VHDL/Verilog)
  • Background in post-silicon bring-up and debugging
