Funds Operations Analyst - Hedge Fund
Responsibilities for the Funds Operations Analyst - Hedge Fund:
- Provide daily operational support across hedge fund strategies and structures
- Manage the full trade lifecycle from trade capture through confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation
- Monitor and resolve trade breaks, cash breaks, and position discrepancies promptly
- Perform NAV oversight, P&L reconciliation, and pricing validation in coordination with fund administrators
- Liaise with external counterparties including prime brokers, custodians, administrators, and service providers
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Support new fund launches, account setups, and ongoing static data maintenance
- Assist with process improvement initiatives, documentation, and ad hoc operational projects
- Ensure smooth continuity of operations and high service standards within a fast paced environment
Requirements for the Funds Operations Analyst - Hedge Fund:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field
- Relevant experience in fund operations within a hedge fund, asset manager, or investment bank
- Strong understanding of hedge fund structures, global markets, and multi asset instruments
- Exposure to derivatives, FX, rates, or structured products is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Confident interacting with internal stakeholders and external counterparties
