Fund Reporting Associate
About the Role
A leading global investment management firm is seeking a Fund Reporting Associate to join its team. The firm manages a diverse range of investment strategies including multi-asset class, public equity, public credit, and liquid alternatives, serving institutional, intermediary, and private clients worldwide. This position offers the opportunity to work on both U.S. and international pooled products, gaining exposure to complex investment vehicles such as fixed income, domestic and international equities, asset allocation, and derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Review annual and semiannual financial statements and monthly/quarterly portfolio holdings for various fund structures, including SEC-registered funds, hedge funds (onshore and offshore), and funds domiciled
- Collaborate with financial reporting managers and internal departments (e.g., Operations, Legal) on financial statement disclosures.
- Liaise with external auditors to address accounting positions and oversee the audit confirmation process.
- Support treasury functions including expense processing, budgeting, and management fee calculations.
- Coordinate with fund accountants, custodians, and administrators to ensure accurate execution and presentation of accounting policies and entries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant fund reporting experience.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP; experience with Irish and/or Australian funds is a plus.
- Familiarity with various fund structures including registered investment companies, multi-class funds, offshore funds, and master-feeder arrangements.
