The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting financial reporting and accounting activities across multiple real estate entities.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, experience managing end-to-end accounting processes, and a solid background within the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Prepare statutory financial statements in line with IFRS or local GAAP
  • Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and support property-level accounting
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Support audits by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors
  • Collaborate with asset management and operations teams to provide financial insights
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress
  • Proven experience in a Financial Accountant or similar accounting role
  • Mandatory experience within the real estate / property sector
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP
  • Experience working with multi-entity structures is highly desirable
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
