Compensation: $220,000 - $300,000 base + bonus

About the Role
The Director of Finance will lead FP&A initiatives, providing actionable insights to guide business performance and growth. You will partner closely with senior leadership to develop financial models, forecasts, and strategic plans, while also overseeing core finance functions to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- FP&A Leadership: Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning process; deliver accurate and insightful variance analysis and scenario modeling.
- Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making, new product launches, and market expansion.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor business performance and profitability.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex models for revenue, expense, and cash flow projections, including sensitivity and scenario analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, product, and executive teams to align financial plans with business objectives.
- Process Optimization: Implement scalable FP&A processes and tools to support rapid growth and improve efficiency.
- Investor & Board Reporting: Prepare presentations and financial packages for investors and board meetings.
- Team Development: Mentor and grow a small finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Preferred Background
- 8-12+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to FP&A and strategic finance.
- Prior experience in crypto, digital assets, asset management, or brokerage strongly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, unstructured environment and implement scalable financial frameworks.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and FP&A tools.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA credentials are a plus.
