Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Overview
Currently representing a fully integrated pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative therapies that improve patient outcomes is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead annual budgeting, forecasts, and long term financial plans alongside senior leadership amongst cross functional teams.
- M&A support - financial modeling, integration planning, due diligence.
- Create financial reporting packages with detailed metrics for stakeholders.
- Capital allocation - risk management.
- Communicate financial insights to leadership.
- Identify performance trends from prior years in order to aid in strategic decision making and actionable insights.
- Scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling.
- Create detailed financial models in order to assess investments and evaluate investment opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on driving growth.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Clear communication and presentation abilities, ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Variance analysis.
- Strong attention to detail
