Title: Corporate Controller
Company Summary: We recently partnered with a top tier EV and Infrastructure company looking to add a Controller to their Finance team sitting fully remote. Being Hedge Fund backed and $4.5 in AUM and 700 million more in dry powder, you will have the ensure accurate financial operations, compliance, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to guide the finance team and support executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and compliance frameworks.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Understanding of the Infrastructure industry.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
