Compliance Governance Manager
An international private banking institution in Luxembourg is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Governance Manager to join its growing Compliance function.
This opportunity would suit a compliance professional who combines strong regulatory knowledge with excellent organisational and project management skills, and enjoys driving initiatives through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate regulatory reporting, filings and compliance-related submissions.
- Support Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP) activities and follow-up actions.
- Manage and track regulatory projects, deadlines and stakeholder deliverables.
- Assist with MiFID-related controls and regulatory obligations.
- Liaise with Compliance, AML and business teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Support the implementation of compliance tools, processes and regulatory initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory obligations are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Act as a key point of coordination across multiple compliance workstreams.
Requirements
- Experience within Regulatory Compliance in the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg banking regulations and regulatory requirements.
- Good understanding of MiFID and related compliance obligations.
- General AML/CTF knowledge.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
- Hands-on, proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- English fluency required; French would be considered an advantage.
- Experience within Private Banking, Banking or a Big 4/consulting environment would be highly advantageous.
