Responsibilities
- Participating in meetings with clients, account managers, and transition team members to capture and document client requirements for new account setups, custodian transitions, investment benchmark changes, and other portfolio events.
- Managing transition activities, including custodian transitions, in-kind transfer events, investment benchmark changes, new market openings, trading counterparty changes, and account terminations.
- Serving as the central coordinator across teams for portfolio events, addressing client queries and monitoring progress.
- Overseeing post-portfolio implementation to resolve any issues and coordinating requests for new markets, trading counterparties, and securities.
- Handling various operational tasks and processes on a daily basis.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in transitions within an asset management firm or custodian.
- A bachelor's degree in a finance-related field.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Previous experience in client relationship management and project management.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including intermediate Excel skills; coding skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and experience in facilitating regulatory requests.
