AI Product Manager
This opportunity is with a leading hedge fund who is looking for a mission-driven Product Manager to lead the development of a global AI-powered investment assistant for retail investors. This product aims to simplify global stock investing and enable truly intelligent wealth management. You will be at the intersection of AI, fintech, and user experience design-shaping the product vision, crafting user experiences, and driving execution. The goal is to build a "personal investment assistant" that offers insights, prompts actions, and executes strategies automatically.
Key Responsibilities
* Define the product vision and development strategy for the AI investment assistant, covering major global markets (stocks, ETFs, mutual/private funds, futures, etc.).
* Deeply understand user pain points-especially those of novice and intermediate investors-and translate them into clear product features and design specifications.
* Collaborate with AI/LLM teams and investment research teams to integrate large language models with investment logic, creating a trustworthy, intuitive, and interactive experience.
* Lead cross-functional collaboration to bring the product from 0 to 1, coordinating engineering, design, operations, compliance, and marketing resources.
* Build a complete investment experience loop: market insights, asset recommendations, portfolio management, post-investment tracking, and investor education.
* Balance growth goals with compliance and ethical responsibilities, especially in the area of financial advice.
* Set and track key metrics such as user engagement, retention, satisfaction, and investment behavior conversion rates.
Requirements:
* 7-10 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in fintech, AI applications, or consumer-facing products.
* Strong understanding of global retail investor behavior and deep knowledge of stocks, ETFs, mutual/private funds, and futures.
* Experience with investment APIs or broker system integration is a plus.
* Experience working with large language models (LLMs) or AI agent systems is preferred.
* Highly user-centric, with the ability to derive product direction from behavioral data and user feedback.
* Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
* Passion for financial inclusion, investor education, and product simplicity.
