Actuarial Associate - Insurance Risk Modeling

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced actuarial professional to join a dynamic team as an Actuarial Associate in Insurance Risk Modeling. This individual will play a key role in the development and application of insurance liability models that support pricing, valuation, hedging, and Asset Liability Management (ALM).
Key Responsibilities:
Build and enhance insurance liability models within the risk modeling platform.
Communicate model results, insights, and implications effectively to management and stakeholders.
Onboard and integrate institutional transactions into the risk platform.
Perform liability stress testing across various accounting bases (GAAP, Statutory, Economic, Bermuda) while analyzing both actuarial and market risk components.
Support the launch of new insurance products by ensuring timely updates to risk models reflecting rate changes and new features.
Conduct validation and control reviews of actuarial and financial models, evaluating assumptions and methodologies.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of quantitative models and tools to provide a robust challenge to current risk management, pricing, and modeling practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
At least 5 years of experience within life and annuity insurance or actuarial consulting.
Professional designation such as FSA, ASA, or CFA is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in modeling complex insurance products.
Familiarity with both life and annuity insurance products is highly desirable.
Prior experience in hedging or ALM is a plus.
Proficiency in Python is strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
