VP RM Rates Sales
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with institutional investors, including asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, LDI managers, sovereign wealth funds and central banks.
- Market a broad range of rates products including government bonds, interest rate swaps, inflation products, repo and money market instruments.
- Generate and execute trade ideas aligned with client investment objectives and market views.
- Deliver timely market colour, macroeconomic insights and product expertise to clients.
- Work closely with trading, research, structuring and syndicate teams to identify opportunities and provide solutions.
- Increase wallet share across existing accounts while identifying and onboarding new client relationships.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of client portfolios, investment strategies and risk management requirements.
- Contribute to overall franchise growth through active engagement with key institutional investors.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience within Institutional or Real Money Rates Sales.
- Established relationships with asset managers, pension funds, insurers and other institutional investors.
- Strong knowledge of G10 rates products including government bonds, swaps, inflation products, STIR and repo.
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenues and grow client relationships.
- Strong commercial and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, front-office environment.
Preferred Background
- Experience covering UK and European real money accounts.
- Knowledge of both cash and derivatives rates products.
- Exposure to LDI, pension and insurance clients.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across sales, trading and structuring teams.

- Deepening and expanding relationships across the real money client base.
- Delivering consistent revenue growth through increased client activity and wallet share.
- Becoming a key point of contact for institutional investors across rates markets.
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the wider rates franchise.
