The Frankfurt office is a key hub within the firm's European network, supporting landmark transactions across a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, the team is seeking an experienced Vice President to help lead transaction execution and drive client engagement.
The Role
As a Vice President in the M&A team, you will play a central role in managing transaction processes from end to end, guiding junior bankers, and working directly with senior leadership on complex and high‑profile mandates. This position offers exposure to strategic decision-making at the highest levels and an opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing German platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading day‑to‑day execution of M&A transactions, including sell-side, buy-side, carve-outs, public offers, and strategic advisory mandates
- Managing and mentoring Associates and Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and analytical rigor
- Overseeing valuation analyses, financial modelling, due diligence workstreams, and transaction documentation
- Playing a key role in client communication, including preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, and strategic materials
- Supporting senior bankers with business development initiatives and sector-specific insights
- Building strong internal and external relationships across corporate clients, private equity firms, and broader deal ecosystems
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a high-performing VP with a strong track record in M&A and a desire to contribute to a dynamic, entrepreneurial advisory environment.
Essential requirements:
- 6-9 years of experience in Investment Banking M&A or a top-tier advisory environment
- Robust technical skillset, including valuation, modelling, and transaction structuring
- Demonstrated experience leading deal processes and coordinating cross-functional workstreams
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with senior clients
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to coach and develop junior team members
- Fluency in German and English
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance culture
