We have partnered with a leading European insurance carrier, focused on underwriting across a variety of Commercial and Specialty lines products. They have a strong foothold in the market across the continent, supported by a leading team of actuaries, ensuring the competitiveness of their pricing to support their longer-term plans to grow into new target markets and lines of business.
They are looking for a Senior Pricing Actuary to join their team in Paris and work across varied lines of business. This role will involve a mix of underwriter-driven case pricing responsibilities, model development and maintenance, stakeholder engagement, reporting directly to business leadership, reviewing and reporting profitability, advising strategies for pricing optimisation and improving portfolio performance, and offering mentorship and guidance to more junior actuaries and analysts.
Role Requirements:
- Qualified Actuary (Institut des actuaires) or Master's level degree in a relevant subject.
- Minimum of 6 years of Actuarial experience with clear progression.
- Experience in Non-Life Pricing, model development, portfolio analysis and management, and MI/dashboard creation.
- Background in Commercial and/or Specialty Insurance markets, strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Actuarial Software, such as Python, R, VBA, not essential but considered beneficial.
- Strong communication, in both French and English (C1+) and stakeholder management skills.

- Expérience en tarification Non-Vie, développement de modèles, analyse et gestion de portefeuille, et création de rapports/dashboards.
- Expérience dans les marchés de l'assurance Commerciale et/ou Spécialisée fortement souhaitée.
- Maîtrise des logiciels actuariels tels que Python, R, VBA - non indispensable mais un atout apprécié.
- Excellentes compétences en communication, en français et en anglais (niveau C1+), ainsi qu'en gestion des parties prenantes.
