Job Title: Senior Operations Associate

Location: Washington DC Metro Area (On-Site)

Salary: $70k - $85k + bonus

Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Operations team at a leading asset manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in scaling processes within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll own operational accuracy, become the go-to expert on the Orion platform, and drive workflow efficiency across the organization. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Oversee all core RIA operations, including onboarding, transfers, money movement, service requests, and custodian interaction, executing with precision, urgency, and transparency.
  • Serve as the firm's Orion expert, managing workflow design, performance reporting, reconciliation, data integrity, model alignment, and continuous optimization.
  • Maintain GIPS-compliant reporting with meticulous documentation and audit-ready accuracy.
  • Lead operational audits and proactively identify improvements that simplify processes without sacrificing detail.
  • Establish and enforce SLAs that reflect a commitment to responsiveness and excellence.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex operational issues, resolving them with speed, clarity, and accountability.
  • Build strong, transparent relationships with custodians and operational vendors to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Identify workflow gaps and implement scalable solutions that reduce friction and enhance efficiency.
  • Develop SOPs, training materials, and operational playbooks that foster clarity and transparency.
  • Lead strategic projects including system upgrades, new technology integration, custodian transitions, and automation initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • 5+ years of RIA or RIA-custodian operations experience with leadership responsibilities.
  • Expert proficiency in Orion Advisor Solutions.
  • Experience with Zoho CRM or similar systems is preferred.
