A leading European financial institution is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior EUR Swaps Trader to join its Amsterdam-based Rates Trading team. This is a strategic hire within a well-established platform, offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the direction of the EUR Rates business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead trading activity across the EUR Swaps curve, managing risk and driving profitability.
- Develop and execute trading strategies informed by macroeconomic trends and market dynamics.
- Collaborate closely with sales, structuring, and research teams to deliver tailored solutions to institutional clients.
- Contribute to the development of junior talent and promote a culture of performance and collaboration.
- Ensure adherence to internal risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in EUR Swaps trading, with a strong track record of performance.
- Deep understanding of European rates markets and macroeconomic drivers.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex risk positions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus but not essential.
