Real Estate Investor Relations Associate/Se. Associate
Selby Jennings has been engaged to find a real estate investor relations associate by a Los Angeles-based private equity real estate investment firm specializing in strategic partnerships with developers across the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe.
As a Real Estate Investor Relations Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's capital raising and investor communication efforts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Investor Communication & Reporting: Serve as a primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors.
- Fundraising Support: Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, pitch decks, and private placement memoranda.
- Maintain CRM systems and investor databases to track engagement and capital commitments.
- Due Diligence & Onboarding: Coordinate investor due diligence processes, including data room management and document collection.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to support investor presentations and strategic positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with acquisitions, asset management, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
Requirements:
- 4 - 6 years experience in a real estate investor relations role
- Strong underwriting, due diligence and modeling abilities (experience preferred from an institutional sized organization)
- Strong GPA, ranking/mid-year reviews from a top university
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships and work with professionals around the organization
