A globally active proprietary trading firm is seeking an experienced Quantitative Researcher to join its growing team in NL. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small, elite group of professionals working to establish and scale high-performance trading operations in a new market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large volumes of market data to identify and develop new trading strategies.
- Build tools that convert research insights into actionable trading signals.
- Continuously refine and enhance existing trading models and strategies.
- Improve data infrastructure and research workflows.
- Explore and evaluate new markets for trading opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong academic background in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Econometrics.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language used in quantitative research (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R, or C++).
- Passion for research, data analysis, and mathematical modeling.
- Ability to bridge theoretical concepts with practical implementation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset with a competitive edge.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach to challenges.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience at a proprietary trading firm or in a high-performance trading environment is highly desirable.
