Portfolio Manager - HFT Options Market Making
We are partnering with a leading proprietary trading firm seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead and scale High Frequency Trading strategies across Indian Index and Equity Options markets. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a sizeable options market-making business, drive strategy development, and work alongside a world-class team of traders, researchers and developers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, deployment and growth of high-frequency options market-making strategies across Indian derivatives markets.
- Manage risk, capital allocation and overall portfolio performance across Index and Equity Options.
- Identify and implement new alpha opportunities through systematic research and data-driven analysis.
- Drive strategy optimisation across pricing, execution, hedging and inventory management.
- Build and mentor a team of Quant Traders and Quant Researchers as the platform expands.
- Partner closely with technology and infrastructure teams to ensure best-in-class trading performance.
- Monitor live trading, analyse results and continuously improve profitability and risk-adjusted returns.
Requirements
- Proven track record managing or leading profitable HFT, systematic trading or options market-making strategies.
- Deep expertise within Indian Index Options and/or Equity Options markets.
- Strong understanding of NSE, BSE F&O and Indian derivatives market structure.
- Extensive experience with options pricing, volatility trading, market making and risk management.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with a research-driven mindset.
- Ability to take ownership of strategy performance and make data-driven trading decisions.
