A mid-sized financial institution in Germany with a strong focus on sustainable banking. They have an office in Bavaria, provides savings, investment, and lending solutions for projects in renewable energy, eco-friendly construction, and environmental innovation. The organization is mission-driven and listed on a public exchange.
Position: Credit Auditor (all genders)
Location: Nürnberg (hybrid)
Estimated Salary: 65.000€-80.000€* base salary
Hours: 40/week
Languages: fluent German (C1+) & English (B1+)
Your Responsibilities
- Independently conduct audits, including complex cases, within the area of credit auditing
- Review the implementation of regulatory requirements
- Evaluate business processes for efficiency, security, and compliance
- Identify risks and weaknesses in operational workflows
- Plan and execute audits, including follow-up activities
- Support projects from an audit perspective
- Maintain regular communication with audited departments and their leadership
- Prepare and present audit findings and reports
- Ensure diligence and a strong sense of responsibility in all audit-related tasks
Your Profile:
- German fluent (C1+) and English proficient (B1+)
- The legal right to work in Nürnberg, without visa support
- Completed training in banking or a related field, or a degree in business/economics with a focus on auditing or a comparable qualification
- Practical experience in credit auditing, ideally including project finance of at least 5 years
- Solid understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with banking or audit software is a plus
- Familiarity with audit tools or platforms is advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
