Overview:
A leading global MM investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Associate 1 to join its Healthcare Investment Banking team in New York City. Key Responsibilities:
- Support execution of M&A transactions and strategic advisory assignments within the healthcare sector.
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, comps), and industry research.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage transaction timelines.
- Collaborate closely with senior team members and contribute to deal origination efforts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of investment banking experience, ideally with a focus on M&A and healthcare.
- Strong technical skills in financial modeling and valuation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean team environment.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
