A leading global independent advisory firm is seeking a highly capable Senior Analyst or Associate to join its Frankfurt office. The firm is known for its flat structure, entrepreneurial culture, and focus on delivering unconflicted, strategic advice to clients across sectors and geographies.


Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile, cross-border transactions in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in all aspects of deal execution, from origination through to closing, with a strong emphasis on technical excellence and client delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Execution: Support and lead the execution of M&A, restructuring, and capital markets transactions.
  • Advanced Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, merger models, trading/transaction comps).
  • Valuation & Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth valuation work and strategic assessments to support client recommendations.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings and calls, contributing insights and analysis.
  • Due Diligence: Manage due diligence processes, including coordination with legal, accounting, and other advisors.
  • Market & Industry Research: Conduct sector and company-specific research to support business development and execution.
  • Team Collaboration: Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performance team culture.

Candidate Profile

  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related financial advisory role.
  • Strong academic credentials in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in financial modeling and valuation.
  • Experience working on live transactions with meaningful execution responsibilities.
  • Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
