Head of Origination - Real Estate
Job Overview:
A real estate investment firm is seeking a dynamic Sr. Director, Head of Originations to lead Lending and Finance operations. This leader will drive originations, manage key client relationships, and ensure seamless execution across the firm's lending platform.
Key Responsibilites:
Lead the full lifecycle of loan origination: sales, underwriting, closings, and servicing.
Manage and develop the sales leadership team.
Oversee operations, closings, post-closing, and loan pipeline management.
Implement technology and automation to streamline processes.
Serve as a voting member of the credit committee and portfolio manager
Report monthly performance and strategy updates to the CEO.
Align teams with performance goals and KPIs.
Qualifications:
Deep experience in private credit / direct lending originations.
Direct multifamily real estate experience.
Previous P&L responsibility.
Experience in equity/mezzanine/subordinate capital structures.
3-8 years of banking experience.
Ground-up housing development knowledge preferred.
